Help Desk — Level 1 Support Technician

We're looking for a responsible Level 1 Support / Help Desk Technician to support our Director of Technical Services. You'll provide high-quality level 1 technical support to our clients and complete engineering tasks and projects in a timely, effective manner. Our ideal candidate is proactive, meets deadlines, communicates effectively, and has previous help desk experience.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze & troubleshoot computer support problems, applying knowledge of software and hardware products and services
  • Provide timely, accurate help desk support to users, employees and clients
  • Answer and respond to support emails, telephone calls and voicemails
  • Work with software developers and lead engineers on reporting and record keeping
  • Create and maintain troubleshooting and support documentation
  • Help design and develop utilities to improve the support process

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of desktop and laptop support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Superior analytical, organizational and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to confidently complete tasks with deadlines

Technical Skills

  • Highly skilled with Microsoft operating systems, servers, and M365
  • Working knowledge of Linux OS environments preferred
  • Familiar with virtualized servers and ESXi platforms
  • Familiar with Cisco or Unifi networking
